Christ Is Born

Today the Virgin
Gives birth to the transcendent One
And the earth now offers
A cave to the unapproachable One.
Angels come with the Shepherds
And glorify Him,
Magi come,
After they were following a star.
Unto us is born upon this day,
A New Child,
Who is the God before the ages.
