BEHOLD! THE POISONOUS ROOT OF ECUMENISM!
HIS EARNEST DESIRE WAS TO DESTROY ORTHODOXY
PATRIARCH ATHENAGORAS
Athenagoras the Ecumenical Patriarch, who died in 1972, instead of defending the sacred dogmas and canons, as he promised to do so when ordained, he did the exact opposite, conducting intensive warfare against the sacred dogmas and canons of the Church and transformed himself into a heretic* although in bishop’s robes. For he proclaimed things worse than any other heretic in history. With a few words: “The age of the dogma is past, he overthrows all the dogmas of the Church. He proclaims that all religions are worthy and beneficial for mankind, which includes the worship of demons. He stands opposed to Jesus Christ himself, saying the opposite: “I am the way and the truth and the life.” Jesus Christ, the Logos of God is the Truth who came down from heaven. To believe and preach that all religions are worthy is poisonous to the soul and stems from the mind of one who has lost his mind!
Behold this man, Patriarch Athenagoras Ecumenical Patriarch, showed himself to be a betrayer who unashamedly insults Christ’s Church, but he exalts false religions. Ecumenism was his creation, for he was not only the founder and originator of ecumenism and but he raised the fallen papacy to the status of the Orthodox Church, especially when he hugged and kissed Pope Paul VI as his brother.Today we see its bitter fruits, in the form of many who openly deny that Orthodoxy is the one true Church of Christ; the recognition of heretical churches as being true, having sacraments and able to save.
Also recognition of their sacraments, inter-marriage with Orthodox spouses and their failure to baptize any of them. However, there are many faithful clergy who will not succumb to this deadly attack of ecumenism.

* the word “heresy”, is from the Greek meaning “having an opinion”, that is, having an opinion different than the Church.
Christ says:
“A good tree does not bring forth corrupt fruit neither does a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known from its fruit. For man does not gather figs from thorns, nor grapes from a bramble bush. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart, brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart, brings forth that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks”
The Godman Jesus Christ is the truth from heaven and it is He who stimulates human minds to function and think, to reason correctly, and to distinguish good from evil and right from wrong. According to this accurate methodology, we can examine the fruit and know if the tree is good or evil. All knowledge that is good fruit is derived from the Lord, the Apostles, the Fathers and all the Saints. All contrary knowledge and falsehood comes from the father of lies, the Devil, the corrupt tree.
Orthodoxy has a universal requirement for all who are baptized into the Church, whatever their rank, patriarchs, bishops, priests, deacons, or lay people. They all must keep the commandments, keep the four fasts and the fasts of Wednesdays and Fridays, attend Church regularly and live a pure and blameless ethical life. Also partake of the Holy Mysteries with the fear of God Faith and love. Above all they must protect and preserve all the dogmas of the Church.
The Church has preserved this holy tradition from the beginning, and many have suffered and put to death as a result. Thousands and thousands were tortured, maimed, and killed, for the sake of a single dogmatic truth. History records the slaughter of right-believing Orthodox by the followers of Arius who denied that Christ was God and man. They were killed for no other reason than they confessed the truth, that Jesus Christ is both God and man..
Orthodoxy is not a religion or one of many churches founded by men, it is the revealed truth (which Athenagoras denies,) which came down from heaven, and the treasury of divine dogma. These dogmas define and identify the true Church, and attacks upon the truth can be defeated with the true dogmas, which define divine truths, understandable and accepted by all. Many of these truths were accompanied by important signs and wonders showing their divine origin. Those who attacked these truths were deposed from office or excommunicated from the Church. Every Orthodox Fathers, Saint and Martyr, and all the Ecumenical Synods and Fathers together with the Apostles firmly supported the true dogmas, as do the faithful of our time.
Dogmas being divine truths, cannot be changed or ignored, but are binding upon all who desire salvation and eternal life. Among the many dogmas established are: Christ is both God and man. Christ is being born eternally from the Father and in time is born of the Virgin Mary. Christ having had two births has two natures, divine and human and is called the Godman. God is the Holy Trinity, Father Son and holy Spirit. All who reject or oppose the divine dogmas, become heretics and so remove themselves, or are removed from the Church forfeiting its promises and divine protection, and eternal life.
How many realize that the Patriarch of Constantinople, Athenagoras was one of the worst heretics of modern times? His own words are his many heresies and his disdain for divine truths, which caused him to rebel and wage war against the true God, and Source of Truth.
PATRIARCH ATHENAGORAS VICIOUSLY ATTACKS THE CHURCH
WORDS OF BETRAYAL OF OUR BELOVED ORTHODOXY
“The age of the dogma has passed ” 1
(Athenagoras)
With these words Athenagoras, declares Orthodoxy to be just like any other Protestant denomination, for his quest to rid the Church of its sacred dogmas, would leave everyone free to make their own choices as to which dogmas they like or even no dogmas at all. This is the guiding darkness of protestantism and papism. Orthodox dogmas were formulated by holy and divine men who are honored and glorified by the Church for they were divinely inspired and their teaching has been verified by the Lord.
Athenagoras, in saying: “The age of the dogma has passed”, effectively tosses everything that is Orthodox into the trash bin, that is 2,000 years of the history which was written in blood. These dogmas did not fall from the heavens but were brought out from heaven by holy men with divine minds and perfect love for truth. Some may ask, what dogmas did Athenagoras throw out? He threw them all out as being worthless for his destructive purpose. That is what is meant when he said: “Let us put the dogmas in a closet and proceed with love.” He was determined to murder the memory of the great and holy confessors and martyrs of Orthodoxy, who formed, defended , and died for the dogmas he does away with!
Athenagoras:
“We have already achieved unity with Protestantism, whereby we constitute an allied force of 350 million individuals with regard to purely ecclesiastical issues.”2
Indeed this statement is nonsensical, for how can Orthodoxy be in unity with thousands of divided Protestant sects, and where can there be unity among those who disagree in most everything? What he is effectively saying is “ believe whatever you want, for it doesn’t matter; “the age of the dogma is past!” He considers all falsehoods as true and truth as falsehood, such thinking is destructive to his soul and the souls of all who believe his heresies. Orthodoxy is never in unity or alliance with another church because she is the only Church, and the only unity she seeks is with Jesus Christ her Head.
Athenagoras:
“We are deceived and we sin, if we think that the Orthodox Faith came down from heaven and that all other creeds are unworthy. Three hundred million people have chosen Islam in order to reach their god, and other hundreds of millions are Protestants, Catholics Buddhists. The goal of every religion is to improve mankind.”3 Note: This is the exact belief of all Freemasons)
“We are deceived if we think that the Orthodox Faith came down from heaven . . .”
The truth is it is the divine revelation which came down from heaven, as did Christ and the Holy Spirit.
“that all other creeds are unworthy . . .”
They are unworthy for there is but one True Church headed by Jesus Christ.
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory . . . raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power end might and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this world but in the world to come; and has put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the Head over all things , the Church, which is His Body, the fullness of Him that fills all. (Eph 1:17-23). All religions lead people astray and away from God, except Orthodoxy, the Church which alone brings us to the true God
“Three hundred million have chosen Islam”
There is no other name in heaven or on earth but that of Jesus Christ the Godman! Islam worship, they admit, never reaches the God who revealed Himself to us, the Father Son and Holy Spirit
“The goal of every religion is to improve mankind . . .”
All man made religions are destructive, harmful, and involve demonic worship not improvement of mankind. The goal of all false religions is to deceive and destroy mankind. This is an insult to Jesus Christ and the Holy Trinity, because mankind it is not improvement that man needs, but salvation. God created man in His image with the potential to also become His likeness. Christ is the perfect man in the image and likeness of God. He did not come to improve man, but to save him, baptize him, anoint him with Holy Spirit, feed him with His Body and Blood of Christ, make him holy, and assist him in a struggle to reach the perfection of the Father.
The Patriarch condemns as a sin those who believe the truth, that the Orthodox Faith came down did indeed come down from heaven. The Patriarch blasphemes against the Head of Orthodoxy Jesus Christ, who founded the Church, against the Holy Spirit who guides the Church, and against all the Confessors and Martyrs who loved the Church which is the Body of Christ.
Certainly the Orthodox Faith came down from heaven, being a revelation and not a sect founded by men. Faithless to Orthodoxy but faithful to Freemasonry, this unfortunate man asserts that we sin, “if we think that the Orthodox Faith came down from heaven and that all other creeds are unworthy:” In his warped view, he endorses all other religions, including every Protestant sect, the Papacy, Buddhism, and every other religion is worthy, but not the Church founded by Jesus Christ. His warfare is directed against the Church and Body of Christ and he is directed at our divine Head. He has shown hatred for Christ, His Church and His Apostles, Prophets and Saints. He preaches a new and destructive gospel seeking to overthrow what can never be overthrown – the Church founded by Jesus Christ.

He did not call for the Papacy or Protestants to get rid of their false dogmas and return to Orthodoxy, to abandon their heresies, to come back to the true Church in repentance and be baptized and saved. He displays a bitterness toward the truths of Orthodoxy.
Athenagoras:
“But they tell us there many differences (separating Orthodoxy from the Papacy). What differences? The filioque?* It existed since the seventh century, and the churches didn’t separate. Primacy and infallibility? What do we care about them. Let every church maintain its own custom. Besides we all think we are infallible – in our work, in our thoughts, in everything. Does your wife ask you how much salt to put in the food? Certainly not. She has her own infallibility. Let the Pope have his. We don’t want it.” 4
This deluded man does not speak as an Orthodox Christian but more like a joker. “Primacy and infallibility, what do we care about them?” he says. What do we care? These are the chief dogmas of the Papacy, that makes it the Papacy and not a church of Christ, for Christ could never be associated with the greatest lies ever told about His Church. The first lie, first: That Jesus Christ appointed the Popes of Rome as absolute rulers over His entire Church. Second, that the Pope of Rome is equal to Christ in infallibility. Third, that Peter ruled over the other Apostles, fourth, that Peter’s confession was his own, when Christ clearly says: Flesh and blood has not reveal it to you but my Father who is in heaven.” Did the Father reveal it to Peter alone? The silence of the other disciples thunders forth proving that this was their revelation just as it was Peter’s.
In saying these things he makes mockery and insults Photios the Great, Basil the Great, John Chrysostom, Gregory the Theologian, and all the God-filled minds of Orthodoxy, seeking to dismantle and tear down their firm belief in the dogmas of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.
The papacy slaughtered countless people through their murderous crusades, tortured and killed countless additional people through torturing and slaughtering Inquisitions! They placed the Pope in place of Christ as their head, and made him equal to Christ by infallibility, claiming that he alone has the keys to heaven and hades and is the sole representative of God on earth! The wickedness of Patriarch Athenagoras is that he not only brings no one to the Church, no one to everlasting life, and works against his own salvation as well. He also deceives many who honor him as a good leader, when in fact he leads them to the same perdition.
The betrayal of Athenagoras has many similarities, He also deceives many who honor him as a good leader, when in fact he leads them to the same perdition. His words, if believed, will lead to the loss of countless souls. Those who honor him dishonor Christ and His Church. how can he escape the same condemnation? What is the difference between Athenagoras and Judas Iscariot? The betrayal of Athenagoras has many similarities, how can he escape the same condemnation?

Saint Paul:
St Paul thunders forth these opposing words to the betrayer Athenagoras: “I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that you walk worthily of the calling to which you are called, with all humility and meekness, forbearance, patient with one another in love; endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called on one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of al, who is above all, and through all, and in you all” (Eph. 4:1-6).
Your heresy stands refuted: “The goal of every religion is to improve mankind.”
If Patriarchs of Constantinople, one after another, continue to lead people to unity with the Papacy, with Protestants and with Monophysites, misnamed Oriental Orthodox, we mus all watch! The Lord will always provide a way of salvation to those who seek salvation, remain faithful, and expose the enemies within who have a single purpose, the dismantling and eventual destruction of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.
Christ is risen!
